A Muskegon-based organization formed in 2006 is one of three Michigan groups to receive a grant to continue their work helping victims of human trafficking.

Since July 4, 2016, many locations across Michigan are required to display a sign which warns people about the signs of human trafficking and offers help to victims.

Crowned Free will host its Launch Party and Fashion show, on Thursday, January 28, at 6:30PM, to raise money and awareness to combat local human trafficking. The fashion show will be held at the Cheney Place at 1600 Monroe Ave NW in Grand Rapids.
