This one was a doozie, to say the least. Even by U.P. standards.

Since the City Of Grand Rapids took their good ol' time picking up the curbside Christmas Trees, this is what we get!  I swear!  So on December 27th I attach the little pink tag to my Christmas Tree, you know the one, the one that the city forces you to buy if you want your Christmas Tree picked up by the sanitation department...

I live in SE Grand Rapids and there were no parties going on on my street after the dig out.  I just think this story is so cool!  Neighbor helping neighbor will help to bond these people for way longer than the Blizzard Of 2011!

Punxsutawany Phil may have seen his shadow, and that may mean that we will see an early Spring, BUT I'll believe THAT when I see it! Regardless,it is looking like the weather isn't enough to keep Green Bay from playing the Steelers on Sunday...

First time in 34 years my neighbor, who works at Amway, said her boss called her this morning at 5am and told her do not come in.  Amway never closes for weather related issues. First time!  I also just spoke with my mom and an unnamed angel, a stranger, showed up at their house and plowed their driveway for them...

The Groundhog Blizzard, as some have coined it, will blanket one third of the nation.  It is being called the "worst snow storm of the decade."  I've been trying to wish it away and pray it away, but it just doesn't seem like anything is working.
