It is common knowledge that increasingly, we doesn’t carry cash, or much of it when we're shopping.  Instead we rely on our debit and credit cards for when shopping. With the holidays just around the corner, that can have a big impact for the Salvation Army as they embark on their biggest fundraising effort of the year, the Kettle Campaign. You know, the red kettles and bell ringers found throughout malls, shopping areas, and stores. Many of us will put some money in the kettle, if we have it, or, try to avoid the eyes of the bell ringer, thinking that if I don't make eye contact they won't know I'm here. Uh huh.

With that in mind, the Salvation Army has come up with a creative idea, The Season Pass Pin.  This is a no-hassle way to support The Salvation Army at Christmas. Simply show the Season Pass Pin and get a “pass” from your kettle donation along with a sincere “thank you” from the bell ringer.
