It's a sad statement in this country when people trying to do some good get arrested just because of their good deed.  Three Orlando citizens who were only trying to do that good deed ended up behind bars on Wednesday. They were part of the international charity organization, "Food Not Bombs," a group that provides meals to those without.

Turns out, this philanthropic act was in violation with a city ordinance that bans feeding more than 25 homeless without a permit. According to police reports, the Food Not Bombs crew had fed over 40 people.

Punishment for violating the ordinance is either 60 days in jail, a $500 fine or both.
