Jacob Moran of Dansville moved on to the Hollywood phase of the competition by winning over all three judges.

Moran, 24, works in a nursing home and trains his voice by singing to his elderly patients. They, of course, love him.

Moran's high tenor is very unique among competitors, and the fact that he enjoys his nursing job seemed to melt the tension away from the competition.

At his audition, taped this summer in Louisville, KY, Moran sang his take on Ariana Grande's 'Into You' to earn a golden ticket to Hollywood.

All three judges, Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan, on the ABC show praised Moran's vocal skills.

"I just want to say, you're the best voice we've heard in all of Kentucky," Perry said. "You're best voice."

"You're making my eyes well up," Bryan added.

"We are just completely dumbfounded here, because, it's gorgeous," Richie said.

"If you say yes, we can help you transform into an idol," Perry said.

"You're life is about to change, I'm a yes," Bryan said.
