About 3 weeks ago, we reported that there were 14 Michigan schools that were currently experiencing a COVID-19 outbreak.  That number has now more than doubled to 32 schools across the state.

At first, the Michigan government would only report the number of schools that had outbreaks but not identify which schools they were.  That is until just this week when Michigan.gov launched their School-Related Outbreak Reporting page.

The page tracks which schools have outbreaks, how many cases they currently have, and if the cases were found in staff, students or both.  The webpage also lists where the schools are located and whether the outbreak is newer or older.

At the time of the writing of this article, 1,412 students and staff across 32 schools are COVID-19 positive.
