Tuesday is off to a wintry start across Michigan with freezing rain and mixed precipitation to the south, increasing snow to the north, and gusty winds for everyone. We'll get a short break, but more is on the way.

Today's second round of winter weather isn't expected to include much freezing rain, but snow and wind will create hazardous conditions. Snow will start moving in late Tuesday afternoon and stick around until Wednesday morning.
