Several "Little Free Libraries" have popped up in my neighborhood during the pandemic, and I love it! Such a cool idea to have books that people can borrow, read, and bring back. Well, a woman in Muskegon has taken that idea and used it for sleds!

MLive reports that Lynnette Marks built a crate and set it up at Beachwood Park, 3157 Dune St. Neighbors soon helped to stock it with sleds, and now anyone car borrow one to zip down the beloved sledding hill at Beachwood park.

Others have been inspired and now more sled libraries are popping up at other parks.  Lakeside’s BananaDog store put one up at Lake Harbor Park, and there are plans for one at McGrath Park.

Marks tells MLive,

We’ve got great sledding hills, and I just thought this is something that we need.

Agree! I think the idea is awesome and it would be really cool to see "Little Sled Libraries" pop up across West Michigan!
