Popular West Michigan Dessert Shop Adds Sweet New Spot
A new dessert destination is on its way to West Michigan, ready to satisfy your sweet tooth. A popular local shop—famous for its artisanal frozen yogurt and more than 100 toppings—is getting ready to scoop up another spot.

A Sweet Success Story Since 2014
Back in 2014, Jim and Karen Avery opened The Pump House in Grand Haven. The couple also owns the Toasted Pickle restaurants with locations in Grand Haven, Rockford, and the new one in Grand Rapids.
They describe The Pump House as a modern day soda fountain. Choose from rotating flavors of frozen yogurt, custard, gelato, or sorbet. Then it's time to go wild with toppings! Pile on a variety of fruits, nuts, candy, cookies, sauces, and more—or keep it simple, it that's more your thing. Everything is sold by the pound, so you're in control of your masterpiece.

Since then, The Pump House has expanded to Knapp's Corner in Grand Rapids, Main Street in Rockford, and opened a kiosk in Woodland Mall in Kentwood.
The Pump House Opening in Standale
Standale, now it's your turn! The Pump House is moving into 411 Standale Plaza Drive, where a Boost Mobile used to be. Demolition is already underway, with big plans for a fall debut.
