New Entertainment Center + Restaurant, Serving Gigantic Sundae Opening Soon in Grand Rapids

Looking for something fun to do with the kiddos or date night? A new family-friendly entertainment center is coming to Grand Rapids!

New Entertainment Center, Restaurant, Bar Coming to Woodland Mall

The company that owns Dave and Busters is opening up Main Event near Von Maur at Woodland Mall soon.

Grand opening weekend is August 16-18.

The first 200 people in line by noon on Friday, August 16 will get free laser tag for a year!

I'd never heard of Main Event before, but it's got more than 50 locations across the country.

What can you find at Main Event? Over 50,000 square feet of fun and more than 100 interactive video games. The entertainment center also offers laser tag, bowling, virtual reality experiences, pool, gravity ropes, and more.

The new location at Woodland Mall will also have a restaurant and bar, Wood TV 8 reports.

According to the menu online, the restaurant serves appetizers like Twisted Pretzels, Nachos, Loaded Fries, a Wing Platter, and more.

You'll also find Sandwiches, Burgers, Pizzas, and "Family Feasts" where you can mix and match entrees.

Main Event does serve a PBB&J Burger - that's two patties, American cheese, peanut butter, blueberry jam, and Applewood-smoked bacon.

What I find really impressive are the fun-looking mocktails and desserts! Here's a look at some Shirley Temple drinks.

There's something called the "Big Super Fun Sundae" that includes Super Hero, Cookies and Cream, Strawberry, Chocolate, and Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, Chocolate Brownies, Cinnamon Sugar Donut Holes, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Chocolate Sauce, Oreos, Whipped Cream, Rainbow Sprinkles, and Sour Rainbow Strips. Seriously, get a load of this thing!
