Allegan County Sheriff's Office Featured in Hit YouTube Series

After the huge response when the Kent County Sheriff's Office was featured on "The Shift", the documentary crew headed south. This time around, the cameras cruised through Allegan County, and things got wild fast.

If you haven't watched "The Shift" before, it skips the fake Hollywood drama, reenactments, and cheesy voiceovers. It just uses real bodycam and dashcam style footage to put you right in the front seat for a raw, day-in-the-life look at patrol work.

What Happens in the Allegan County Episode?

This brand-new Allegan County episode focuses on Deputy Seech, and the call log for this shift is stacked. It kicks off with an investigation into heavy damage done to a local soybean field tied to an attempted catalytic converter theft.

From there, Deputy Seech rushes over to lend a hand to Martin Township Fire & Rescue while they fight a fully involved structure fire. Viewers also get a behind-the-scenes look at the rigorous training going into getting his new K9 partner ready for the street.

Things get even more chaotic later on when a citizen report leads to a vehicle with open alcohol inside. Right as the stop gets underway, a classic torrential West Michigan thunderstorm opens up on them.

Dealing with pouring rain, worsening weather conditions, and a language barrier forces Deputy Seech to pivot quickly to keep the scene under control.
