Fire crews say a recycling center in Holland is a loss following a fire Tuesday, Nov. 7. 

According to MLive, firefighters were called to Recycle Now at 302 E. 19th Street shortly before 11a.m. Heavy fire and smoke was coming from the front of the building.

The building was evacuated and no injuries were reported.

Firefighters continued to battle flames into Tuesday afternoon.

Witnesses report that the fire started in the area of a dust collector. Holland Fire Capt. Chris Tinney says the investigation is ongoing to determine the cause and origin of the fire.
