Heyward From Crash’s Landing Wants to be Your Valentine

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Every Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Heyward.

Heyward ended up homeless and helpless in October of 2016. A woman who regularly saves stray cats on the northeast side of Grand Rapids found him and gave him a place to stay until Crash's Landing took him in on November 14.

Heyward was extremely shy and suffering from severe dental disease when he arrived. Crash's Landing gave him all of the care and love he deserves. Today, he is still a shy cat, but he is ready for a permanent home.
