Grand Rapids 'Restaurant Impossible' Episode Airs This Weekend

You're going to see some familiar sights on Food Network this Saturday!

Restaurant Impossible, the show in which Chef Robert Irvine aims to fix failing restaurants in two days with a budget of $10K, took on Eastown's Chez Olga back in May.

The episode is going to air Saturday, August 3rd at 9p.m. on the Food Network.

According to MLive, Chef Irvine did NOT have a great fist impression of the GR Caribbean Restaurant on Wealthy Street. He thought Chez Olga was lacking personality and said the food "was not even mediocre at best."

Of the episode, called "Caribbean Catastrophe", the Food Network said in a release,

Robert Irvine heads to Chez Olga in Grand Rapids, Mich., where the struggling Caribbean restaurant's dingy dining room, bland menu and terrible kitchen are tearing apart the mother and daughter who run it. Robert must completely revamp the look and menu as well as get the owners to work as partners, or this restaurant is sure to fail.

Yikes!
