New Eastown Pizzeria Offering Free Pizza For a Year to First 100 at Grand Opening Next Week
A new Eastown pizza joint is amping up excitement for its grand opening next week by offering the first 100 guests free pizza for a year!
Franca's Pizza on Wealthy St. Announces Grand Opening
Back in March we told you that the old Papa John's restaurant in Grand Rapids' Eastown neighborhood would be getting new life as a locally-owned pizzeria - and now we know the opening date!
Franca’s Pizzeria at 1551 Wealthy St. SE is set to open to the public Monday, May 23 at 11a.m.
According to the new restaurant's social media posts, the first 100 guests will receive a "Free Pizza For a Year" punch card!
Franca's has been holding its soft opening over the past week and a half or so, offering specials for restaurant workers and first responders. Follow Franca's on Facebook for more deals. Check out different daily deals here.
Once open, Franca's Pizzeria currently has hours listed
- Sunday through Thursday 11a.m. to 10:30p.m.
- Friday through Saturday 11a.m. to Midnight
Uccello Brothers to Open New Pizzeria in Eastown
Brothers Davide and Dan Uccello are behind the new Franca's Pizzeria.
Franca's Pizzeria is part of the Uccello brothers' full service food company, Flo’s Collection, which includes Flo’s Pizzeria Ristorante & Sports Bar in Belmont and Greenville, Flo’s Wood Fired Pizzeria in Rockford, Flo’s Pizzeria in Plainfield, and West Michigan Catering Concepts.
The new restaurant is named for Davide and Dan's mother, Franca.
Franca's Pizzeria to Serve Sicilian-Inspired Meals
The new restaurant will serve Sicilian-inspired meals, including appetizers, subs, wraps, pasta, Stromboli, and of course - pizza!
