All of us like to go through other homes, new homes and dream.  Ahh, if only....!

Get ready to dream, kids!  The newest in home designs are out there for all to see in the Grand Rapids area starting this Friday, May 25th.

The Grand Rapids Parade of Homes has 63 houses on tour this year.  Also, and I don't know if this is a first, but the Parade will have eight conceptual houses to view online only.

What are the prices?  They'll range from $100,000 to $1 million in 17 communities.

Emily Siebert, Executive Officer of the Home Builders Association of Greater Grand Rapids, said "a lot of the new construction this year we've seen has been in the $200,000 and $300,000 on average."

Most of the new development is in Byron Center, Ada and Cascade Township, but Sable Homes has a house in the parade in Wyoming listed for about $240,000.

You'll find very nice, quality construction in all price ranges, and quality amenities as well.  But, naturally, with the higher priced homes, let's say $750,000 and above you'll find hidden televisions behind the mirrors in the master bedroom and bathroom, heated tile floors, and lighting and electronics set up to synch with an iPhone. Outside, you might find cement fiber siding all the way around the house.

It's Dream time!

The Parade of Homes run May 25th through June 9th.
