The Odyssey In IMAX 70mm Is Only Showing At One Michigan Theater

This movie has been going crazy earning over $682 million dollars thus far and shows no sign of slowing down.

Theatres are constantly sold out for an amazing cinematic experience of The Odyssey.

And it is the IMAX theatres showing it in the true 70mm format that it was intended to be shown in.

There are only 25 theatres in the United States able to present The Odyssey that way, and only 40 world-wide, so we are lucky to have one of those theatres here in Grand Rapids, Celebration North.

Tickets have been sold out for all showings, so Celebration North has announced they have been able to extend the run and add more show times! Yippee - because my wife and I haven't been able to see it yet.

Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey on IMAX 70mm has literally taken the country by storm. And since Grand Rapids is one of the 25 theatres in the country, and the only one in Michigan able to show it on 70mm film, people are gobbling up tickets from all over the country. They have come from every state except Rhode Island. Go figure. They may even be coming from Europe, who knows!

The Odyssey will also be showing in digital formats in many of the other Celebration theaters. However, the high format theatres, C-Premium, will now be showing the new Spiderman movie that has just opened.

Fox17 reports Celebration Cinema says ticket availability has been sparce since the movie's release, so they have been able to add new showings from August 21 through September 16. Just CLICK HERE and find the tickets that are available now.
