Hey, guess what?  Not only is it the first day of Spring, but it's National Ravioli Day!  Whoopee!!

And, you don't have to be Italian to celebrate National Ravioli Day today.

According to Merisa Fink on the msnbc website, you don't even need to call it "ravioli." The Italian ravioli is the Polish pirogi is the Chinese wonton is the Jewish kreplach is the Indian samosa is the (insert your culture's comfort food here).  In the melting pot that is America, recipes can't help but cross reference other cultures' doughy tasties.
