Get Ready For Ice, Music, And Local Beer At Winter Fest In Grand Rapids
There is big excitement this weekend in Grand Rapids It's back for the 18th year, the Annual Winter Beer Festival!
The cool thing is that all of your favorite local, Michigan beers, hundreds of fresh, local beers will all be at LMCU Ballpark tomorrow, Saturday, February 24th, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Although it may be a bit brisk, the weather should be perfect for this outdoor event. Fox17 reported there will be lots of local music, ice sculptures and carving demonstrations, warming fire pits and great food, and, oh, by the way, BEER!
It is best to buy your tickets online ahead of time because it will only cost you $60, and that includes $15 tokens for beer samples.
Chances are you are going to have a lot of fun and beer, so, in a effort to keep you safe, the beer festival is selling designated driver tickets for only $20. Hint: that is a really good idea and money well spent!
If you're thinking you'd like to purchase a ticket in-person, it will be first-come, first-served and will cost $70.
What happens to the money from the event? Proceeds from ticket sales go to nonprofit Michigan Brewers Guild to support the organization and help offset costs associated with the festival.
Don't forget he annual Winter Beer Fest is a 21+ event. No person, even as a designated driver below that age, will be permitted inside.
The 18th Annual Beer Festival once again is tomorrow, Saturday, February 24 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at LMCU Ballpark in Comstock Park.
