Well, we finally got a REAL snowstorm, one that you needed to shovel your sidewalk and driveway more than once and even worse, it was super heavy.  I don't know about you, but halfway through, I was questioning life and wondering if there was anyone I could pay LOL

I saw on Fox 17, a new app that's based here in Grand Rapids and is being billed the UBER of snowplowing and shoveling. It's called Quickplow.  It works a lot like Uber if you need your driveway plowed or sidewalk shoveled, you just jump on the app and a plow driver or person in your area will come to take care of you.  Perfect if you don't want to a contract with a company or you can usually do it except this one time.. or whatever.

The owner of the app told Fox 17 that around 5,000 people have downloaded the app with around 400 service providers.  They also said the cost is reasonable with a driveway big enough for 4 cars costing around $50.  Quickplow is in both app stores.  You can still sign up to be a provider too if you're at least 18 years old.

I hope this helps you, I got excited to come across the article because I don't usually have to shovel (because I rent) but today I did... and don't really want to ever again. So I decided to share.
