When there's a fire and the Fire Department arrives to put it out, you see the Firemen dressed in all their firefighting gear.  Right?  Well.....not always.

It’s a little weird to see two firemen dressed in drag dousing the flames of a car fire with a fire hose.  A dream?  Nope, that’s exactly what happened in Minnesota recently.

It happened in tiny, Sedan, MN.  Every year they hold a “beauty pagent” to have a little fun and raise money for equipment. The entirely male firefighting team dresses in ball gowns and struts their stuff for an audience to raise funds.

On St. Patrick’s Day, the crew was headed out of town with their truck to appear in a nearby St. Patrick’s Day parade. Two of the firemen were in their pageant garb as part of their parade schtick. On their way, they passed a truck that had caught on fire. The fire was beginning to spread to another vehicle, so, Fire Fighters to the rescue.  They hopped off the truck and went to work...in their dresses!

They said it only took a couple of minutes to put out the fire. They put the equipment away and drove on to the parade.  Another job well done!
