Blessing of the Animals is Sunday, July 14 at Cascade Township Park

Are you an animal lover who is looking for a fun morning in the park? You are invited to a special “Blessing of the Animals” on Sunday, July 14th at 9:30am at the pavilion in Cascade Township Park.
Our news partner, WZZM TV13 reported you can bring your favorite fish, furry, or feathered friend along with leashes, crates, water bowls, and anything else necessary to keep your pet safe, secure, and comfortable. Extra lawn chairs are recommended for the two-legged types.
The blessing will be part of a special outdoor worship service by Genesis United Methodist Church. Genesis is asking that animal lovers help spread the word at your vet clinics, pet stores, feed supply stores, volunteer animal rescue operations, and adoption agencies.
There will also be special featured critters from the Lowell Farm & Wildlife Center.
