Cascade Township Park

Spread a blanket with other sky watchers and watch streaks of light dart overhead at the “Perseid Pajama Party.” The Grand Rapids Public Museum, in conjunction with the Grand Rapids Amateur Astrological Association, announced today the return of this successful event to Cascade Township Park on August 12 and 13.

The Grand Rapids Public Museum and the Grand Rapids Amateur Astrological Association will host a Perseid Pajama Party at Cascade Township Park on August 12 and 13.

Are you an animal lover who is looking for a fun morning in the park? You are invited to a special “Blessing of the Animals” on Sunday, July 14th at 9:30am at the pavilion in Cascade Township Park.

There will be a big sky show this weekend, something you shouldn't miss.  It should be a blast for the whole family. The Perseid Meteor Shower will be shooting across the sky both Saturday night/Sunday morning, and if weather predictions are accurate, viewing should be terrific.
