PSYCHOPATHS MAKE UP 4.5% OF THE POPULATION! They're everywhere...they're everywhere!

Yep! According to a new study, 4.5% of the adult population are psychopaths. Am I one? Are you one? Do you or anyone you love, know one? Or, quite possible you don't know what a psychopath is.

Defined, a psychopath is a person with a psychopathic personality, which manifests as amoral and antisocial in behavior, with a lack of ability to love or establish meaningful personal relationships, extreme egocentricity, failure to learn from experience, etc.

The website Boingboing reports researchers in Spain found that men are more likely to be psychopaths. And, psychopathic traits are higher in numbers in North American male and female prisoners than in European male and female prisoners.

So, where will you find a psychopath? Lot's of professions, but this is scary because Radio and Television personalities are number 3 on the list! WHAT? Okay, of course not every DJ, Anchorperson or Meteorologist is a psychopath, just a lot of us may be! HA! HA! HA!

Survey say the top professions to find a psychopath are:

company CEOs
lawyers
radio or television personalities
salespeople
surgeons
journalists
priests
police officers
chefs
civil servants

Holy cow, that's a lot of people we all know. I always thought they were regular people. Now I'm seeing a whole new side of them!

On the other hand, there is a good side to this. The 10 professions with the lowest levels of psychopathic traits were social-health assistants, nurses, therapists, artisans, stylists, charity workers, teachers, creative artists, physicians, and accountants.

Thank God, we're not living in a psychotic world after all. Just some of us are!
