Now that things have calmed down a bit after the holidays it's time to think about making some changes. If you don't currently have a cat, but you've been considering adopting one, Tostada is a perfect match for you!

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Each Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Tostada.

Tostada is a shy cat. He was brought in by Crash's Landing after he was found lurking behind the shelter. It is suspected that someone dropped him off and drove away.

Tostada is about six years old. He was ear-tipped prior to arrival, which means he was a participant in a low cost spay/neuter program. He needed some care at first as his right ear was torn and he had a small puncture on his left foreleg. Overall, he was in pretty good health.

Tostada was very shy at first. He has warmed up a bit, but still prefers to go solo.

Want an easygoing cat for a one-cat home? Tostada is perfect for you! Please adopt him!
