T'challa's arrival at Crash's Landing involved some good timing. Let's keep the good luck going for this black cat on Halloween.

Please adopt T'challa.

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Each Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting T'challa.

T'challa was found wandering a neighborhood in Garden City near Detroit. The person who found him had him tested and found out he was FIV+.

The options for FIV+ cats are very limited. Crash's Landing is one of the few places where they can go. The person who found T'challa knew this and emailed Crash's Landing looking for help. By luck, Dr. Jen from Crash's Landing was in the Detroit area checking her email on her phone when she saw the request for help. She made the 20 minute drive to pick up T'challa, then gave him a two-hour ride to Crash's Landing in Grand Rapids.

Timing can be everything.

T'challa likes it quiet. He needs a less active home with no dogs, no small kids, but possibly an older quiet cat.

Please adopt T'challa.
