Stavros wants to get a closer look at you!

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Each Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Stavros.

Stavros was found on the south campus of Davenport College just a few months ago. His rescuer took him in and brought him to a vet where it was discovered that he is FIV+. Soon after, Stavros made his way to Crash's Landing.

Crash's Landing treated Stavros for a nasty ear infection and extracted some problematic teeth. Once he was bathed he was ready to join the other cats.

Stavros is about five years old. He loves one-on-one attention, especially if you have a brush or comb in hand. He can be a bit quiet, but he's very friendly.

Please adopt Stavros!
