Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center. Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.
Each Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.
This week, we're spotlighting Snickerz.
Snickerz is a happy cat. He's famous for purring in his sleep. We could all learn a thing or two from Snickerz.
Snickerz came to Crash's Landing from the east side of the state where he was living on his own and begging for dinner from food trucks.
When Snickerz arrived at Crash's Landing he had a respiratory infection, internal parasites, an ear infection and other problems which contributed to his poor body weight. He also tested positive for both FIV and Feline Leukemia.
Snickerz is a bit shy. He doesn't love being picked up, but will curl up in your arms if you sit with him. He likes treats and wet food. He likes chin scratches too. He needs a home that can provide him some patience.
