Adopt Sherwood From Crash’s Landing (He’s the One on the Bottom)

As you can see, Sherwood from Crash's Landing can make friends anywhere. Now, he wants to meet you!

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Each Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Sherwood.

Crash's Landing was contacted about Sherwood in late January of 2019. Sherwood had showed up on someone's back porch several weeks before. The owner of the property set food out for Sherwood which he shared with his opossum buddy.

Sherwood appreciated the food and was very friendly. He was taken indoors, then Crash's Landing was contacted. Soon, Sherwood was welcomed to Crash's Landing.

Sherwood needed medical treatment which he was quickly given by Crash's Landing. It was also discovered that he is FIV+. Sherwood is a gentle cat who gets along well with other cats and loves attention. Adopt him and welcome him into your home!
