Some rescued cats are brought in immediately after they are found, not Sandor. It took four long years for a friend of Crash's Landing to earn his trust enough to bring him in.

It's been long enough. Let's find a home for Sandor!

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Each Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Sandor.

A Wyoming resident had been looking after Sandor in a mobile home park for four years before she earned Sandor's trust enough that he would come onto her porch, then eventually into her home.

This May, when Sandor showed up with a badly injured face, it was time to bring him into a vet. Within a couple of weeks he was the newest resident at Crash's Landing.

Sandor had a number of wounds that needed treating. He also turned up FIV+.

Sandor loves people, but can get a bit jealous of attention given to other cats. He would do best as an only pet. Please adopt Sandor!
