In his year at Crash's Landing, Mycroft has undergone a major transformation from a timid cat into a confident one. He's never been more ready to be adopted!

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Each Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Mycroft.

Crash's Landing is one of the few shelters which gives a home to FIV+ cats. All of the local cat shelters and individuals who work with them know Crash's Landing helps FIV+ cats and they contact Crash's Landing when they come across an FIV+ cat.

Mycroft is FIV+. On January 23, 2017, Crash's Landing was informed about Mycroft by a client of NE Cat and Dog Hospital in Grand Rapids. The client brought Mycroft off the streets, then contacted Crash's Landing for help. Crash's Landing was more than happy to assist.

Mycroft was very scared. He was strong physically, but not mentally. He was fragile and fearful.

It's been a long, slow journey, but in his year at Crash's Landing, Mycroft has become an outgoing and confident cat! He's never been so ready to join a new family.

Please adopt Mycroft!
