If you couldn't guess by the name, Mr. Fluffytail has yes, a fluffy tail, but also a happy-go-lucky attitude.

Mr. Fluffytail hasn't been at Crash's Landing for long and he isn't likely to stay long. He's too popular!

Come in to meet Mr. Fluffytail!

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Each Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Mr. Fluffytail.

Just two months ago, Crash's Landing was contacted by a woman on the east side of Michigan about Mr. Fluffytail. A woman had rescued him, then sadly surrendered him to her local humane society. She immediately regretted her decision and was applying to adopt him back when it was discovered that Mr. Fluffytail has the feline leukemia virus.

The woman didn't want to bring the cat into her home with her other cats who test negative. She knew who she needed to call for help. Big Sid's Sanctuary at Crash's Landing is one of the only places for cats who test positive.

Upon his arrival, Mr. Fluffytail was treated for a variety of ailments, but remained happy through it all. Crash's Landing says Mr. Fluffytail is one of the happiest cats they've ever seen. Considering that they've seen thousands of cats over many years, that's quite the accomplishment!

Come in to meet (and adopt!) Mr. Fluffytail today!
