You're one short road trip away from falling in love with Montana at Crash's Landing!

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Each Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Montana.

Montana is three years old. He was found in April of 2019 in very rough shape.

Montana had a wound from a cat bite. He was very dirty, smelly and had a long list in ailments including intestinal parasites and a toenail injury.

Montana tested positive for FIV, which was no surprise. He couldn't get right into Big Sid's Santuary, Crash's Landing's home for FIV+ cats, but he did receive treatment for his wounds and get cleaned up before being returned to foster care. Soon, there was room for Montana at Big Sid's and he was welcomed in.

Montana is pretty laid back, but he does appreciate having his own space at times. (Don't we all?)

Come into Crash's Landing and meet Montana!
