Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center. Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.
Each Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.
This week, we're spotlighting Mo Cheeks.
Mo Cheeks is about five years old. He arrived at Crash's Landing in early 2017 after transferring from the Harbor Humane Society, since they do not have a place for FIV+ cats. Crash's Landing had room and happily welcomed him into Big Sid's Sanctuary, their home for FIV+ cats.
Mo Cheeks has always been very confident and extremely social. He does have chronic tearing from a common herpes virus infection, but he takes his twice-daily supplement and cleaning wonderfully. He loves attention, no matter the reason!
Mo Cheeks is very easygoing and gets along well with all. No one has heard a hiss or snarl from him from day one. He would make a great pet!
