And he shall be Levon.

And he shall be a good cat.

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Each Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Levon.

Levon is four years old. He came to Crash's Landing in July as an FIV+ transfer from the Humane Society of Mid-Michigan in Montcalm County.

Crash's Landing provides something that's hard to find. A home for FIV+ cats. Other shelters contact Crash's Landing in hopes of landing a spot at Crash's Landing's special home for FIV+ cats called Sid's Sanctuary. Some cats come from hours away. Crash's Landing was happy to provide shelter for Levon.

Levon wasn't happy at first, but over time he began to socialize. The more time he spends with the other cats and volunteers, the more comfortable he becomes.

Bring Levon into your home and give him an opportunity to grow!
