Adopt Larry From Crash’s Landing
Do you have one cat and are looking to add one more?
Larry is the perfect match. Meet him at Crash's Landing.
Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center. Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.
Each Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.
This week, we're spotlighting Larry.
Larry was born in January of 2008. He originally became a Crash's Landing cat in 2011, then was adopted out just two months later. Crash's Landing hadn't seen Larry in years, but they were happy to give him another chance when he needed to return last year.
Larry had been happy at his new home until he lost the cat that had been his companion. Larry had become extremely lonely and bringing another cat into the home wasn't an option, so Larry returned to Crash's Landing.
It was not a surprise when Larry didn't do well at first when he returned to Crash's Landing. It was a major adjustment. Crash's Landing also diagnosed him with kidney disease and began treating him for it.
It was a rough start, but Larry has been growing into his new space and adjusting well. He doesn't do well in large groups of cats, but does great when he has one cat to spend time with. Larry really needs a home with one other cat.
Please adopt Larry.
