Just a couple of months ago, Jamie was returned to Crash's Landing because his owner could no longer care for him. They enjoyed over five years together, but it's time for Jamie to find a new home.

Adopt Jamie and help keep his second stay at Crash's Landing a short one!

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Each Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Jamie.

Jamie was born in January of 2008. He was adopted from Crash's Landing over 5 1/2 years ago, but it became necessary for him to return. There was some concern on how he would do after so much time in a comfortable home setting, but within hours Jamie was exploring and was right at home.

Jamie has been receiving broad-spectrum antibiotics to protect his kidneys from a bacterial infection. He has also been put on unlimited canned food to help increase the water content to his diet, flush toxins from building up, and also put weight back on his thin frame. Through it all his energy and attitude have remained in excellent condition!

Jamie loves greeting people. He talks a lot! As for other cats, he could live with or without them. Jamie would be a great fit for just about any home. Please adopt him!
