Grif came to Crash's Landing under terrible, heart-breaking circumstances. Now, he needs a comfortable home to call his own. Please adopt Grif.

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Each Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Grif.

Grif came to Crash's Landing under very sad circumstances in March of 2018. His neighbor contacted Crash's Landing to let them know Grif's owner had passed away just days before, leaving Grif and two other cats alone in the house without food or water. The cats were afraid and in dire need of both physical and emotional attention. Sadly, the third cat in the house passed away before Crash's Landing was given approval from the police to remove the cats from the home. All three cats, along with their owner, were in need of medical care for quite some time and didn't receive it.

After being rescued and being given much attention and medical treatment, Grif has improved. Today, Grif is very affectionate towards people. He's a big fan of belly rubs and will be happy to give you headbutts and purrs when he's getting attention.

Grif isn't a big fan of other cats, but he does like kids. Come into Crash's Landing and meet Grif!
