It's homecoming season and Gendry needs a date.

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Each Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Gendry.

Gendry is about 10 years old, but he has only been at Crash's Landing for about one month. His stay has been filled with medical care. Gendry has been treated for a mangled left ear, a tongue laceration, many broken teeth and he tested positive for FIV.

Gendry faced a long list of problems, but Crash's Landing was there to help. Now, they are counting on you to give him a permanent home.

Gendry would do best in a home where he is the only cat.

Come to Crash's Landing to meet Gendry.
