Crash's Landing has a cat for everyone. Some cats are best suited to be the only cat in a quiet home. Some love the excitement and attention that a house with kids and pets can bring.

Meet Ellston from Crash's Landing and see if he is a fit for your home!

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Each Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Ellston.

Ellston came to Crash's Landing three months ago. He was a stray on the southeast side of Grand Rapids who had been hanging around the neighborhood for about a year. A resident who had been feeding Ellston decided it was time to contact Crash's Landing.

Ellston was brought to be tested before his arrival at Crash's Landing. He was found to be FIV positive. Crash's Landing welcomed Ellston. He was a bit shy in his new surroundings for a few weeks, but then his personality started to come out again.

Ellston would do best in a calm environment and in a home with another cat to keep him company.

Please adopt Ellston!
