Cato was once a very shy cat, but he has responded so well to the loving care he has received at Crash's Landing! Help Cato continue down this path. Adopt Cato!

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Each Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Cato.

Cato was born in the fall of 2009. Cato was a very timid cat who was found as a stray in a Belmont manufactured home community during the summer of 2012. By the time got to Crash's Landing in Sept. 2012, he had suffered a broken tail, a toe amputation, broken canine teeth down to the gum line, and foot pads that were rock hard and cracked from life outdoors. He also tested positive for FIV.

After arriving at Crash's Landing, thanks to the patience of the amazing volunteer staff, Cato came out of his shell. He feels safe and secure. He enjoys his surroundings, but really deserves a home to call his own.

Please adopt Cato!
