It's been a tough year for Caboose, but there is still time to make it a positive one. Please adopt Caboose.

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Each Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Caboose.

Caboose was born in early 2018. He came from Lansing after he was found with a severe case of parasites which required emergency surgery in Lansing to correct complications from the infection.

While Caboose was recovering from the surgery it was discovered that he is FIV+ so Crash's Landing was given a call and they welcomed him to their facility. Just three days after his arrival another emergency surgery was required.

Today, Caboose is off of all medications and doing well. He is slowly starting to socialize and he likes to explore. He would do best in a quiet home.

Please adopt Caboose.
