Due to some changes, space at Crash's Landing has been at a premium lately. That means less space to bring in new cats. The space limitations have made adopting a cat from Crash's Landing more important than ever.

Adopt Barleigh and you'll help all of the cats who need more room to be rescued!

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Each Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Barleigh.

This year, Crash's Landing has had to combine both of their shelters under one roof while still keeping the Crash cats and Big Sid's cats separate. One side of the building houses the Crash Cats and the other houses Big Sid's which is the rescue for FIV and Feline Leukemia positive cats.

Barleigh is a beautiful FELV+ cat that was transferred to Crash's Landing from Focus on Ferals. It is hard to adopt cats with this virus, but Crash's Landing specializes in these cases. They are always willing to step in and help.

Barleigh loves to roam. He also loves to be around his brother MacDonald who is also at Crash's Landing. Both are available to be adopted and would love to stick together, but a loving home for either one would be welcome news.

Please adopt Barleigh!
