Every cat at Crash's Landing has a unique story. Axil's is one of the toughest. Please help him move on to the next chapter by helping him get a home of his own.

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Each Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Axil.

Axil's story starts painfully. He was found with a non-breakaway collar stuck on him which had rubbed his skin so hard it embedded deep into the tissue. It was so bad that after weeks of treatment one of his legs had to be amputated. It took many months for Axil to adjust to life with three legs.

Axil was rescued in June of 2018. He is five years old. He doesn't do great with other cats, so he would be best in a one-cat home.

Axil deserves another chance. Please help him.
