Last winter, Arya survived on the streets on her own. She's a tough girl, but she deserves so much more.

Please adopt Arya!

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Each Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Arya.

Arya made her way to Crash's Landing recently, but the journey there was a long one.

In late May of 2019, Crash's Landing was contacted about Arya who had been living under the Kent County Parks Department's modular office building off of Butterworth Dr. in winter.

The parks staff could not bring her into their office and due to varying circumstances, none of them were able to adopt her, so they contacted Crash's Landing.

Arya is about 2.5 years old. She is very friendly. She was friendly around the parks staff and visitors. She remains friendly at Crash's Landing, but she'll let you know when she wants some space.

Arya enjoys belly rubs, fresh catnip, and just lounging around.

Come to Crash's Landing and meet her today!
