Bloody Shirt Stomps On Memory of Four Killed at Kent State University [Video]
Apparel company Urban Outfitters created a WTF moment by selling a bloody vintage t-shirt that reads "Kent State University" across the front.
Those who know their U.S. history will quote the famous Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young song about the incident: "Four Dead In Ohio."
Their blood shouldn't be for sale.
Kent State University has since issued a statement on the apparel, it reads in part:
We take great offense to a company using our pain for their publicity and profit. This item is beyond poor taste and trivializes a loss of life that still hurts the Kent State community today.
Those of you unfamiliar with the May 4, 1970, incident are encouraged to go to the May 4 Visitors Center and read about it.

Or listen to the classic CSN&Y song on the incident, which is succinct and to the point on the subject:
Urban Outfitters got a definite lesson in history today, as evidenced by its apology issued this afternoon.
