Ryan Reynolds has put out a call for the citizens of Vancouver to find a teddy bear containing the recording of a woman's deceased mother.  Reynolds, born in Vancouver, announced on social media that he would reward anyone with $5,000 who came forward with the bear, "Zero questions asked."

Mara Soriano, 28-year-old woman from Vancouver, had a very special teddy bear taken from her on Friday while moving into a new apartment.  The teddy bear contained a recording of Mara's late mother who died of cancer in 2019.

Mara told the CBC that she had recorded her mother's voice and made a custom Build-a-Bear before she had entered hospice when her voice was still recognizable.  The recording was the last memory that Mara had of her mother.
