If you're a runner, and you love running with your dog, tomorrow, Saturday, October 20th will be a fun day for you.

It's the 13th annual Bailey's Doggie Dash, a run throught beautiful Wabasis Park...with your dog!

The Doggie Dash was started in 2000 by Kevin Sweeney of the Michigan State Police, who saw a need for an owner/dog based run to benefit local parks and animal shelters.
The run tomorrow benefits Kent County Parks Foundation, a section 501c (3) charitable organization dedicated to expanding and improving parkland, protecting the environment and preserving open space in Kent County.  The Kent County Parks Department is currently responsible for 38 parks totaling 6712 acres as well as four regional trails. With your tax-deductible sponsorship/donation, they will be able to help protect our natural parkland here in Kent County for generations to explore and enjoy.

At the run, there will be:
* T-shirts for all registrants – typically 100-150 – hoping to grow!
* Trophies and engraved dog bowls to the top three in each age group (13-60+)
