The third and final $5,000 ArtPrize Pitch Night winner of 2015 was awarded at the Indianapolis Museum of Art on Wednesday night. "Whisper", a 70-foot voice-activated table setting by Emily Kennerk, was the winner and will be featured on the second floor of 250 Monroe at ArtPrize 2015.

Sculptural Pinatas Named Winner of ArtPrize Pitch Night in Minneapolis
ArtPrize Pitch Night opened its third year last night in Minneapolis. The program awards artists from outside of Michigan with $5,000 and a prominent place to display their art at ArtPrize. A work featuring sculptural piñatas, "Constructing on Deconstructing" by Carolina Borja and Amy Toscani, was named the winner at Walker Art Center in Minneapolis.

Today, ArtPrize made several announcements about changes and growth planned for 2015 including new opportunities for curators, an expansion of ArtPrize Pitch Night, more grant money and a new showcase event called ArtPrize Tonight.

Anila Quayyum Agha’s "Intersections" won the public vote at ArtPrize 2014. It was also co-winner of the juried award, earning $320,000. "Intersections" has found what may be the widest fan base of any piece over the six years of ArtPrize.
