ArtPrize Seeking Volunteers to Host Visiting Artists for ArtPrize 2015

ArtPrize is looking for volunteers to provide free temporary housing for visiting artists at ArtPrize 2015.

This fall, ArtPrize will see artists come from 48 countries and 42 states. The need for temporary housing for artists is huge and the process has already begun.

Some artists need to be in Grand Rapids longer than others to install work or perform. Each artist has specific needs. Those needs can be matched with homeowner's preferences after registering as a potential ArtPrize artist host.

After registration ArtPrize provides a list of artists who are looking for a place to stay. Hosts decide which artists, if any, they'd like to contact about housing.

The ArtPrize housing program began the first year of ArtPrize.
